Ireland day 4
today Sean our tour guide took us to see these ruins that date way back before stone henge. He said that two people whom had run away to live a happy life were cursed and were not able to concermate their love on the earth, and so when they found this pile of rocks they thought hey.. thats not on the earth and did it on top of the rocks, but that is just one of the versions of the myth.
We continued down to see the cliffs of Moher. They just seem to keep going and going, its nice though, it seemed that as soon as we got there the weather turned to shit, and off into the distance we could see rain and it was going to smack us straight in the face. so we rushed off. but trying to get back to the bus was a mission and a half. the wind had picked up and so we all ended up waking sideways and getting blown away from the bus, so glad the bus was parked away from the cliff or we would have been blown off even the berley men had trouble- no exaggeration!
from there we climbed up some lime stone which has been there since the ice age and then drove on to Galway which we will be staying for two nights
When we got to Galway we went out and did 6 of the 12 pubs of christmas.
was such a fun night. i was so tanked.
